Easter Invitation from Father Stan – Easter Vigil 2025

Dear Parishioners, Friends, and All Who Seek the Risen Lord,
You are warmly invited to join us at Our Lady of Peace, Reading for the Easter Vigil, the most sacred and joyful celebration of our Christian year.

This year, we gather on Saturday evening, 19th April 2025, beginning after dark at 9:00pm, to enter into the heart of the Paschal Mystery — Christ’s triumph over death and the dawning of new life.

We will begin with the Liturgy of Light, a powerful and moving moment in which the new Easter fire is kindled, the Paschal Candle is lit, and the darkness gives way to Christ’s eternal light. It is a moment of deep beauty, ancient tradition, and living faith.

Whether you are a regular member of our parish family, a visitor, or someone simply seeking meaning and hope, you are most welcome. Come and witness the rich symbols, the sacred readings, the renewal of baptismal promises, and the joy of the Eucharist as we proclaim together: He is not here — He is risen!

May this night be for each of us a fresh beginning, filled with the light and life of the Risen Christ.
